Ruger offers several rimfire chamberings in their Model 77 rimfire line. On the same scoped action using the same magazine you can add a custom .22 WMR barrel to the 77/17 rifle or a .17 HMR barrel to the .22 WMR rifle. The gunsmithing is quite basic resulting in a most versatile, little switch-barrel rifle.

Both rifles use the same magazine and exchanging barrels is easy, requiring only a screwdriver and an Allen wrench for a very solid lockup.
