Firearms are capable of withstanding a substantial amount of abuse and neglect. The question with a firearm having unusual issue is to figure out to what amount of compounding issues will push the firearm past its tolerances. Here we’ll look at one such problem pistol I worked on.
I examined and repaired a Taurus G3 chambered in 9mm. From what my client told me, this firearm had been used for many different applications and has withstood different elements and conditions. Despite this, the pistol had a few problems that the standard first response of take down and cleaning was incapable of solving.
